Tomato Paste

Tomato paste is an integral ingredient in almost all of Turkish cooking. Ripe tomatoes are hand-selected, washed, cut into pieces and then cooked down with salt to make a spreadable paste. We preserve hand-picked in-season tomatoes so you can have that flavor year-round.

Use it to add vibrant tomato flavor to your cooking. Substitute tomato paste whenever your recipe calls for preserved tomatoes. Perfect for sauces, soups and stews, braising meats, marinades for proteins, and so on. In Turkish cuisine, both tomato paste and pepper paste are typically used to complement each other in dishes.
