  • Ingredients – pumpkins, sugar, pickling salt
  • Size – 14.8 oz. | 420 g.

A traditional dessert that dates back to the time of the Ottomans. Pumpkins are peeled, cut into pieces, quick-pickled, cooked in a simple syrup, and then preserved in their syrup to keep their shape and crunchy texture.

Traditionally served with a drizzle of tahini and chopped walnuts. We love to enjoy our preserved pumpkin pieces with a spoonful of “kaymak”- clotted cream and chopped walnuts or pecans. Pairs exceptionally well with aged Alpine cheeses, aged goat’s milk cheeses or on top of your labne with your favorite nuts.
